About
I am a UX designer interested in bringing actionable change through curiosity, story telling, and research.
As a creative I’ve always had an affinity for art, with my artwork featured on publishers such as Celebrating Art and school contests.
As a first generation college graduate from Bates College, I earned a BA in History with an interest in diverse stories, empathizing with them, and finding deeper meaning to find solutions. My studies along with my internship experiences has exposed me not only to research methodologies but also allowed me to present my findings and create artifacts to drive change. With my background, I have developed a passion for incorporating visual storytelling into my process of uncovering deep rooted usability issues through research and keen curiosity. Now, I am prepared to begin my new chapter in UX Design.
I have supplemented my past experiences through completion of Introduction to User Experience Design with Coursera and UX Foundations with Design Lab. I have completed a 9 month intensive bootcamp with Springboard where I will strengthen my skills, build industry experience and expand my network. I’m excited to pair my background with design principles for a SaaS or ecommerce product. Feel free to connect with me to continue to follow my professional journey!
